Mexican Kassandra

Finca Kassandra is a family owned farm on the slopes of Mount Mesofilos in the Huatusco region of Mexico. It is here the coffee, bourbon, caturra and catuai varietals, are grown at an altitude of 1200-1500 masl. The finca is 100% Rainforest Alliance certified and is constantly looking to new ways to ensure that production is sustainable. 27 hectares out of the 465 hectares that make up the farm have been left to grow wild creating an important habitat for native birds and plants. The coffee trees grow under shade trees and the coffee is hand picked and washed and sorted at the finca's own mills. Don Gabriel is now in charge of growing the family business. It is his passion and experience in coffee farming and production that means that the coffee from Finca Kassandra is some of Mexico's best.
